Going back through old shots during the rainy nights I decided to re edit the following.

Glenveagh National Park

Interesting what a fresh pair of eyes can bring to a shot!

Golden Waves

Monday 07 April 2008 at 8:42 pm

Today I woke up to snow at the coast, thick, wet, sludgy snow!!

By the early evening however that had disappeared leaving behind glorious golden creasted waves to rush into the beach.  See the lovely image below -

River Bann Partnership

Sunday 16 March 2008 at 1:57 pm

Just a quick one!  The Lower Bann Partnership, Northern Ireland is now using a range of images shot during the Bann for Life project to advertise and promote the area's use both for leisure and development.

Images feature not only on the image slideshow at the top of the pages but also in the photo gallery and can be used by local businesses in their advertising materials.

You can visit the website here for more information on this wonderful tourist and wildlife spot.

Stephen.

New (old) images

Sunday 24 February 2008 at 11:34 pm

OK!  It has been a fair while since I added anything to this site.  Life has taken over as it tends to!  House moves, job applications, little one's, etc tend to take up a lot more time than there possibly is in the day.

However in the few minutes I have been able to ekk out of the day i have been processing old images using new technology!  I have converted to using Adobe Lightroom for around 99% of my processing needs and I have to say, the program is brilliant.  If you could add adjustment layers I would not go near Photoshop again.

The images here are from the months spent shooting the Bann for Life project (which is still receiving praise and regular hits).  Not only have these images benefited from using new programs to edit, they have benefited (perhaps more) from a great deal more experience in how to handle digital files.

Well enough of the ranting, here are the two images I hope you enjoy.
